  1. J'ai un pantalon
  2. I have a pair of pants
  1. C'est ma voiture
  2. This is my car
  1. Cette maison est pour moi
  2. This house is for me
To have
In english we use the verb to have(avoir) to talk about things we possess or own

Present tense of to have 
I have=J'ai
You have= Tu as
He has= Il a
She has= Elle a
It has=Il a
We have= Nous avons
You have=Vous avez
They have= Il ont 

Here are some examples:
  1. She has a telephone 
  2. Elle a un telephone
  3. Li gen yen yon telefòn 
  1. They have money 
  2. Il ont de l'argent 
  3. Yo genyen lajan 
Possessive adjective 

My = mon = pa m lan 
Your =ton/ta/tes/ = paw la /paw yo
His=son/sa/ses/=pa li a/ pa li yo
Our=notre /pa nou 
Your= notre =pou nou
Their =leur = pou yo

Here are some examples:
  1. This is my dog
  2. C'est mon chien
  3. Sa se chen mwen an
  1. Her house is white
  2. Sa maison set blanche
  3. Kay li a blanch

Difference between Lend and Borrow

Difference between lend and borrow “ Lend” means to give something   to somebody   to use for a period of time. To " borrow " means to take someone else's property for a period of time, use it, and then return it. The person who lends something  is the one who  owns it and allows others to use it. The person who  borrows the  item does not own it and must return   it after use.   Here are examples of how each word is used in context.  Sentences with Borrow Can I borrow  your telephone ?
