Self-Introduction

Self-introduction_ Part One

Most English learners have hard time making a Self-introduction. They don't really know where to start and what to say. So, it is important to know how to introduce yourself, your family and your friends. When you introduce yourself properly this helps acquaintances to know some details about you and this is also an opportunity to let people know who you are. So, we can notice that we can face up different situation where we must introduce ourselves:

  • In the classroom as student or as teacher
  • Beginning an interview
  • Attending a hiring event
  • Giving a presentation

For each case above there is some primordial information, however some information must be included in all tye of introduction. For example, your name your profession or occupation. In this lesson which is part one of our series about Self- introduction, we are going to make a self-introduction as a student or in case of a simple intruduction.

Generally, they can ask you to " make a self- introduction/ talk about yourself/ Introduce yourself!"

Hi everyone! Today I am cheerful to find this opportunity to introduce myself.

My name Holf-Sandz SCOTT. I am ten years old.  I am an American. I am from New Jersey. I live in New York, at #39, Gatta Main Street. I go to Adventist Philadelphia Primary School. I am in sixth grade. I go to New Baptist of Grace Church.  My Daddy's name is Scatter SCOTT, and he's an agricultural Engineer. My mother's name is Hadassah SCATTER and she's a nurse. I have Three siblings, two brothers and one sister. I love my favorite family.

My favorite food is rice and beans. My favorite color is blue. My favorite sport is football. My dream is to become a doctor. I like skating when I am free.

This is my friend Sarah; she is my classmate, and she likes skating too.

Difference between Lend and Borrow

Difference between lend and borrow “ Lend” means to give something   to somebody   to use for a period of time. To " borrow " means to take someone else's property for a period of time, use it, and then return it. The person who lends something  is the one who  owns it and allows others to use it.
